French Drain System, Sump Pumps, Joist Sisters,
and Beam Replacement
Mr. Olson was well aware that he had a major issue under his floors in the crawl space. Many of beams were severely rotten, his floors were soft and weak, and several doors were coming out of alignment with drywall cracks above the openings. We first managed the standing water by installing a full perimeter french drain system after pumping out the flooded crawl space. Once the water was gone, we were able to rebuild almost his entire crawl space structure by replacing several main girder beam sections and sistering more than half of his floor joists. His floors become much more level, we fixed multiple doors that were out of alignment, and his moisture is down to a much more manageable level to prevent future damage.
