Basically, GridLock Foundation Stabilizers are foundations, engineered to stabilize your foundation. They are much stronger than traditional push piers. Where lifted push piers often fail, our Foundation Stabilizers have a lifetime guarantee. Unlifted push piers can last anywhere between 5-25+ years, so Foundation Stabilizers are a much better option for long-term stability.

Strength

Regarding strength, our Foundation Stabilizers can hold up to 20,000 lbs. This is significantly stronger than traditional push piers, which typically hold anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 lbs.

Material Usage

Traditional push piers are made of 4 to 20 drive pipes, a starter pipe, a foundation bracket, and hydraulic equipment. Our specialized Foundation Stabilizers design utilizes a rebar cage. This rebar cage is made up of 2 rebar grids, 4 rebars, and concrete delivery. This makes for a much stronger support system.

Installation Time

2 to 4 Foundation Stabilizers can be installed per day.

Space Eficiency

With traditional push piers, they can be spaced up to 6 ft apart (On-Center). Our Foundation Stabilizers can be spaced up to 10 feet apart O.C.

20,000 Pound Foundation Stabilizer Field Test

The GridLock Foundation Stabilizer passed an Engineer conducted field test demonstrating stability with over 20,000 pounds of steel plates (261 x 82 LB plates).

How Do Foundation Stabilizers Work?

This stability technology works by utilizing more soil volume for added support. Most soils support between 1,000-2,000 pounds per square foot. The Foundation Stabilizer uses over 260x more surface areas of soil compared to push piers. This system creates a larger volume of influence with 13+ square feet of surface area. The ‘Volume of Influence’ pertains to the width and depth of the supporting soil.

Engineered Steel Rebar Cages

We use a special engineered rebar system to ensure your home’s stability. This system utilizes two Steel Rebar Mats, which are separate welded structures. Each mat is supported by rebar chairs and clips. The two rebar mats are connected with special steel connecting rebars, creating the full ‘rebar cage’. These special engineered rebar cages are embedded in the concrete that we pour to complete each Foundation Stabilizer.

 

How Do I Know if I Need Foundational Repairs?
